BEST PART ABOUT GOLF?

The best part of golf is the escape from reality. It allows me to step away from work-related demands and fully focus on something else. Additionally, one can geek out about everything related to golf – from equipment to swing techniques. It’s like a separate world where you can immerse yourself and savor every swing!

FAVORITE GOLF MEMORY?

My favorite golf memory is from an internal competition at my previous workplace. It was a local tournament where everyone, from beginners to low-handicap players, participated. I happened to be in the same group as two colleagues. One of them had been playing golf for 20 years and maintained a handicap between 1 and 3, but he had never achieved a hole-in-one. The other colleague was relatively new to golf, having played for less than a year. We were on the second hole, a relatively short par 3 measuring 125 meters. The beginner stepped up to the tee, swung the club, and the ball moved like a perfectly guided string. It landed about 1 meter from the pin and then bounced straight into the hole. The beginner barely comprehended what had just happened, while the experienced player’s jaw dropped in disbelief, followed by a mix of astonishment and frustration!

WHO INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A GOLFER?

No specific person inspired me to become a golfer. Instead, it was a combination of curiosity and the need for a recreational activity that led me to the golf course. I tried golf with a group of friends at the nearest driving range and got hooked instantly. Now, I’m forever immersed in the world of golf!

IF YOU'RE NOT GOLFING, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

If I’m not playing golf, I dedicate myself to technology. It’s also my profession as a teacher in Industrial Automation. In my free time, I mostly spend time with my partner and my two young children. It’s incredibly enjoyable to watch them begin to explore their golf swings on the range!

I discovered the Golf GameBook app after trying out various golf apps. As someone who is tech-savvy, I was drawn to GameBook because of its simplicity and comprehensive statistical features. My favorite feature in the app is the statistical tracking. It provides me with an in-depth overview of my own game, which is invaluable for improving my skills. Additionally, I love the ability to follow my friends’ games, even when I’m sitting on the couch. Being able to encourage or joke with them through the chat is a fun way to stay connected and share golf experiences!

WHY DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN THE #GGB SQUAD?

I became interested in the Golf GameBook Squad for several reasons. Having early access to new features is a fantastic opportunity. It allows me to explore and test the latest innovations within the golf app. Additionally, I love the idea of sharing my own experiences with fellow golf enthusiasts. Being part of a community that actively contributes to making golf more modern and interactive is both rewarding and exciting!
